Starbucks Planner 2013 Philippine edition is here!

It's that time of year again, the time when we start drinking Starbucks coffee like crazy so we can get our hands on their incredibly in-demand planners! Other coffee shops have been jumping on the planner bandwagon as well but we all know Starbucks did it first and Starbucks does it best (in my opinion anyway). :p

So without further ado, here are the three versions of the 2013 Starbucks Planner for the Philippines. Only the cover colors differ -- there's white, black, and green. The planner was launched yesterday at the Starbucks Christmas Kick-Off Party at Bonifacio High Street.

Lucky for me I got one as a Christmas gift from the uber nice folks at Starbucks Philippines. :D

The 2013 Starbucks Planner comes in a black box with a Starbucks and SparkHope logo, the foundation that Starbucks launched together with UNICEF. SparkHope is a giving-back-to-the-community program that allows each Starbucks store to adopt a barangay and provide for early childhood care for children below 6 years old in that barangay. For each planner availed, Starbucks donates P50 to UNICEF for SparkHope.

The planner looks simple with its leather cover, embossed pattern, and Starbucks logo on the upper right hand corner. Yup, I got one in green.

It comes with a magnetic bookmark in the shape of a Starbucks paper cup used for hot beverages.

This year's planner theme is "Moments of Connection".

It's still a good old-fashioned planner...

You have space to write just about everything.

There's even a spot where you can attach a photo of your favorite moment... rather scrapbook-ish, yes?

The back sleeve of the planner contains those much coveted Starbucks coupons!

There are thirteen (13) coupons in all:

• Complimentary upsize
• Free short brewed coffee for every purchase of a whole cake or Starbucks Coffee Traveler
• Free ten (10) complimentary Frappuccino for every Starbucks Frappuccino Booth Package order
• Free double upsize
• Buy 1 take 1 espresso beverage
• Two complimentary add-ons
• Complimentary upsize for two (2) beverages
• Buy 1 take 1 frappuccino beverage
• 10% off on any Starbucks merchandise, whole beans, or Starbucks VIA Ready Brew
• Free brewed coffee refill
• Free tall iced tea with purchase of any Starbucks lunch sandwich from 11am to 2pm
• Complimentary add-on
• Free short brewed coffee with purchase of any Starbucks breakfast sandwich from 7am to 10am

Oh yeah, the Starbucks planner is refillable too. After you've used up the 2013 pages, you can remove them and refill with generic planner paper such as those sold in bookstores.

So how do you get a 2013 Starbucks Planner? There are two ways:

1. Avail of a Starbucks Planner Promo Card from any Starbucks branch from November 3, 2012 to January 8, 2013. One (1) sticker is awarded for every beverage purchase. You will need seventeen (17) stickers consisting of nine (9) Christmas beverages and eight (8) core beverages except bottled drinks to redeem a planner.
   
2. Buy P5,000 worth of merchandise and/or gift certificates in one go and voila, you get one planner.
