Oishi... O Wow! Here in the Philippines, who didn't grow up with Oishi snacks? I certainly did. I still remember how my sister and I would eat Oishi Prawn Crackers after school on the way home. That was well over twenty years ago.
Anyhow, Oishi recently teamed up with unique individuals from different parts of the media and entertainment industry to form Team O. Heading the line-up is Oishi brand ambassador Elmo Magalona and included in its growing roster are Tim Yap, Slater Young, Gang Badoy, and Ramon Bautista.
Elmo and Tim recently flew over Bulacan (see video above) and spread the cheer with a helicopter-load of Oishi surprises for everyone below.
While Elmo and Tim didn't fly over our house to drop off some snacks, I got my share of surprises from Oishi and Team O. I found a big bag of these mystery snacks on my doorstep one day and yes, I was surprised.
Everything is packed the same way so you don't know what you're going to get when you pick up a pack.
It can be any Oishi snack under the sun. Mine turned out to be my favorite... Baked Porky Pops! Woot! I love how it's light and crunchy, plus it's already seasoned with vinegar so I don't need to have a separate dip for it.
Opening another pack revealed some tasty Parmesan cheese-flavored Bread Pan, my kids' favorite. Each bag of snacks is a surprise waiting to be revealed! All I can say is O Wow, thank you Team O!
There are still a lot of surprises for everyone in the works with Team O... watch out, the next Oishi O Wow invasion could just be in your neighborhood! :D
