Burnham Park is a big open space consisting of concrete roads, lawns, a man-made lake, and lots of trees. You can rent bicycles, tricycles, and makeshift um... car-cycles? The roads are evenly paved so it's smooth riding all theoughout.
There are vendors in the park selling snacks like this ice cream sandwich. Generous scoopfuls of your ice cream flavor of choice are stuffed in between a soft burger bun. You can also opt to have your ice cream in a cone.
This is the man-made lake located in the middle of Burnham Park which I remember so well from my childhood days. You can rent boats and hire a boatman if you want, or you could do the paddling yourself.
Baguio's cool climate makes walking in the park a relaxing and leisurely activity. It's especially nice during breezy days. There's also an Orchidarium in Burnham Park but we weren't able to check it out anymore since it was our last day (the only day it wasn't raining!) and we couldn't afford to stay too long due to traffic. :/Like this post?
