So how does all that relate to the HSBC Fun Run 2011? Well, first of all, the race proceeds will be donated to the Sa Aklat Sisikat Foundation (SAS). SAS is a non-profit organization which aims to foster a nation of readers. I'm all for that because I feel that these days, children are reading less and less with all the distractions readily available to them. A lot of what I know and what I can do now can be attributed to my being a voracious reader. Reading is a habit I'd like my own children to pick up and so I'm all for the HSBC Fun Run 2011.
Anyways... here's even more incentive for you to join the HSBC Fun Run 2011. The race singlet was created by world-renowned designer Josie Natori. This has got to be the most glamorous run ever. XD
...and this is what the real thing looks like. If you register for the run before on or before Nov. 7, 2011 you can avail of the early bird price of P400 for the 100m dash and P600 for 3K, 5K, and 10K. From Nov. 8 to 16 the registration price will be P500 for the 100m dash and P800 for 3K, 5K, and 10K. Oh, the 100m dash is especially for kids 6 years old and below. HSBC Fun Run 2011 is happening on November 26 at the SM Mall of Asia. Each runner will also be taking home a loot bag containing other premium items such as a custom-designed HSBC water bottle, HSBC baller ID, and a finisher’s shirt. Category winners will get non-transferable roundtrip tickets to Hong Kong while a pair of roundtrip tickets to London will be raffled off to all participants. For more registration information log on to http://www.hsbcrun.com.ph/.
The lovely ladies of HSBC were clad in Josie Natori for the launch event too. :)Like this post? Subscribe to this blog by clicking HERE.
