The bubbly and funny Bianca Valerio was the host for the day. She was clad in black from head to toe.
There was a fashion show featuring black-based creations by designers Czarina Villa, Michi Calica, Camille Co, and Charina Sarte.
This is one of Camille Co's creations. I remember her collection well because she was the only one who played around with prints. Everyone else was doing solid colors.
Oh my! I love those wedges!!! I'd be too scared to walk around in something that high though but I really like the style so I hope it's available in a lower-heeled version... XD
These are by Charina Sarte. The plunging V-neck was definitely hard to forget too. I think a regular person would have a hard time pulling it off.
After the fashion show, Rexona Crystal was revealed and then put to the ultimate test on stage. I was amazed at how it did not leave any white marks like Brand X did.
I got to take home my very own Rexona Crystal demo kit from the event.
Inside the kit were 2 deodorant sprays: Brand X and Rexona Crystal. There were also two rubber stamps marked accordingly, 2 pieces of black cloth, and a black tank top.
So I put the two products side by side for some hands-on heavy duty testing.
I sprayed Brand X all over the rubber stamp marked Brand X and then stamped it onto the black piece of cloth.
True enough it left white marks, so if you actually used this deodorant before wearing your black top or dress, you'd have white marks all over the fabric.
Next up was Rexona Crystal deodorant spray.
I sprayed the rubber stamp real good, as you can see it's wet from the deodorant.
Then I stamped it onto the black piece of cloth just like I did with Brand X.
Voila! No white marks! Not a single trace, and so if you use this before wearing your dark-colored clothes you won't have to contend with the white marks problem caused by other deodorants. This is indeed good news for me because I use deodorant and my wardrobe is like 80% black, hahaha! :D
Rexona Crystal is available in both spray and roll-on form. The deodorant spray costs P160 while the roll-on costs P79. Rexona is available in supermarkets, department stores, and drugstores nationwide.
