There was also an extensive sampling of Nivea's latest in skin care -- Nivea Express Hydration Body Lotion (which I am giving away HERE, product review to follow). After all, fashionable clothes and silky soft smooth skin are the key elements to glamming it up. :)
As soon as I registered I was informed that there was a styling game ongoing. We would group ourselves into teams of three with one person as the model while the other two serve as stylists. We would then be given a peg of a look to recreate on our model. I teamed up with Marj and Martha. Lucky for us the peg we got was Marj's specialty -- animal print! We plotted our attack and decided that one would look for the dress and shoes while the other would complete the accessories (bag and baubles). Then we would all meet up at the dressing room.
Lucky for us Martha is sooo easy to dress. She practically slips into everything and she can run in 3-4 inch heels! This is our completed look! We did it in a little over 4 minutes. :D
Yey Team Leopard! I wasn't really dressed for the occasion because I went straight to the event right after picking up my kids from school. :/
We were actually the fastest team to complete the challenge and so we bagged first place. We all got a gift from Mango and Nivea. They ran out of Nivea baskets though, so Martha and I would get ours delivered to our homes. :p
The Nivea Glam Board Express FB app went live a few days ago at http://www.facebook.com/NIVEAPhilippines. Basically, you create your very own look using Mango clothes and accessories. Pictured above is the Glam Board I came up with, hehe. You save your creation and then ask your friends to vote for it. By doing so, you get a chance to win a supply of Nivea products and Mango shopping sprees every day and every week! I find creating fashion spreads kind of addictive, I just wish I was svelte enough to actually wear the stuff I come up with hahaha. XD
