Samsung Galaxy SII and Galaxy Tab 10.1 grand launch + mystery cellphone winners!

As many of you know by now, the mystery cellphone I've been posting about in the last couple of weeks is the Samsung Galaxy SII. Naturally, I was present at the launch event held at the A Venue Events Hall last June 21, 2011. Please note that I used the Samsung Galaxy SII's camera to cover the entire event. :)

We were shown a demo of the Galaxy Tab 10.1's nifty features before we entered the event proper.

Plus we were allowed to play around with them. Notice how compact the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is, it's actually a bit smaller than the palm of my hand.

Meet the mystery cellphone, Samsung Galaxy SII! I won't talk about it too much now but I will post a full review soon. I just want to say that it's the best cellphone I've ever used and I really LOVE it to bits. :p

I was totally blown away by this event from start to finish. Hands down the BEST tech event EVER!!! The entrance alone was enough to inspire feelings of being transported to another galaxy.

I was seated near the stage so I had a really great view of everything that was happening. Check out the fab centerpiece on our table. :D

The event was hosted by Bianca Valerio and RJ Ledesma. I love these two, they're both very light-hearted and funny plus they can really connect with the audience.

I'll be honest with you. Normally tech events entail a lot of talking from the brand / product / marketing managers and well... it can get quite boring. This event was different. The folks over at Samsung let the awesome visuals and stage theatrics do almost all the talking. So in true Samsung fashion, let my photos below do the presenting:

My tablemates and I were all watching in complete awe the entire time. Words can't express how amazing the program was. I actually have nearly a hundred photos. O_O

I had a photo opp with my favorite hosts Bianca Valerio and RJ Ledesma too. :)
