Kabigting's Halo-Halo in Quezon City (Sooo Pinoy Food Trip Series)

Going back to the Sooo Pinoy Food Trip, our next stop after Nathaniel's Bakeshop was Kabigting's Halo-Halo in Banawe, Quezon City. Just like Nathaniel's, Kabigting's originated from Pampanga.

Kabigting's Halo-HaloPersonally, I prefer my halo-halo (Filipino iced dessert) simple which is why I love Razon's. I don't like kaong, nata de coco, and langka so the less ingredients the better. :p

Beans and Carabao Milk Pastillas at Kabigting's Halo-HaloKabigting's halo-halo is comprised of chewy and slightly sticky mashed beans, carabao milk pastillas, creamed sweet corn, milk, and very finely shaved ice. I really enjoyed it a lot. In fact, I want to go back already! One halo-halo such as the one I had above costs P75.

He and the kids nearly polished off the whole box in one sitting, haha! It's very creamy and oh-so-yummy! I'm sure my balikbayan relatives would love it! :D
