Personally, I prefer my halo-halo (Filipino iced dessert) simple which is why I love Razon's. I don't like kaong, nata de coco, and langka so the less ingredients the better. :p
Kabigting's halo-halo is comprised of chewy and slightly sticky mashed beans, carabao milk pastillas, creamed sweet corn, milk, and very finely shaved ice. I really enjoyed it a lot. In fact, I want to go back already! One halo-halo such as the one I had above costs P75.
I also decided to buy a box of Kabigting's carabao milk pastillas (P70, pictured above) for my kids.
My hubby was sort of afraid to try it at first since he thought there's be an aftertaste or weird scent, but there were no such things. He and the kids nearly polished off the whole box in one sitting, haha! It's very creamy and oh-so-yummy! I'm sure my balikbayan relatives would love it! :DKabigting's Halo-Halo
