Starbucks' summer food offerings!

Starbucks has cooked up some really yummy food for us this summer. I've always loved Starbucks sandwiches and pastries so getting to try all these new goodies was really such a treat for me. :D

This is the Chicken Buffalo Bleu. Soft tortilla wrapped spicy buffalo chicken pieces, fresh veggies, and tomatoes combine beautifully with the tasty blue cheese dressing. I love its refreshing taste! The crunchy celery gives it a really lovely texture. :D

Next up is the Chicken Galantina and Fontina on Pan de Sal. Good old soft and crusty whole wheat Pan de Sal is sliced in the middle and then filled with slices of chicken galantine, mushroom sauce, and melted fontina cheese. Make sure you ask the barista to warm it for you before you take a bite so you can savor it at its best. :D

Five Cheese Turnover was one of my favorites for the evening. This buttery croissant-like pastry is filled with a medley of cheeses, specifically cheddar, cream cheese, mozzarella, parmesan, and Emmental. It had some crushed basil leaves sprinkled inside too. Yum! Kids will surely go for this cheesy treat. It's quite sinful though so its bad for the waistline. XD

Going the sweet route, we were also served Tiramisu Cheesecake. It's made with Starbucks VIA coffee and as the name suggests it combines the coffee goodness of tiramisu with creamy tangy cheesecake.

Coffee Brownie was a real treat. It's made with Starbucks VIA Colombia blend so the flavor is very pronounced. It's moist and chewy too, just the way I like my brownies. :D

Mango Peach Cream Pie (P110 per serving) was probably the food item which I liked least. It was just too sweet. There's a generous dollop of whipped cream which tops it but the fruit pieces are too few and what's there is just overly sweetened. The graham cracker crust was nice though. I could only accommodate 1-2 bites before giving up... XD

I'll get the prices of the other food items and update this post accordingly. That's what I get for forgetting to check!!! O_O
