Anyways, the highlight of the event was definitely the appearance of Pampers Active Baby endorser Vina Morales. Vina shared the joys of being a mom, telling us how it's the most rewarding experiences one can have. It was very easy to empathize with her. I found Vina to be down-to-earth and accommodating. Even as she was leaving she took the time to say hi to each table that she passed by on the way out.
Other activities during the event included a demo from Gymboree on how to stimulate babies, a talk from Hobbes and Landes about age-appropriate toys, and a short presentation on self-pampering from The Spa.
For some reason, the part I liked best was the live Pampers Active Dry diaper demo. They took Pampers and another diaper, wet them, put a paper towel on top and pressed metal weights on them. The Pampers ladies raised up the paper towels and voila! the one that was pressed on the Pampers diaper was dry while the other paper towel was visibly soaked. Impressive!
