Cool down with the Carrier Designer Series!

I don't know about you but the air conditioner is one of the appliances I can't live without. It's just too hot here in Manila. During the summer I start sweating as soon as I step out of the shower.

Tessa Prieto Valdes hosts Carrier Designer Series launchIn lieu of how important air conditioning is to me, I attended Carrier's Designer Series launch hosted by Tessa Prieto-Valdes. She even dressed for the occasion, donning thick furs in order to test the cooling power of Carrier.

Carrier top execsTop Carrier execs shared their new innovation. It came in two forms: a window-type aircon and a package type aircon. We actually have both types at home. Hubby and I have a 2HP window-type aircon in our bedroom while a package type aircon sits in our living room.

Carrier Designer Series airconditionersI like the sleek and modern design of the Carrier Designer Series. They come in three colors too: Midnight Black, Twilight Silver, and Winter White.

Carrier Designer Series window-type airconCarrier Designer Series window type aircons start at .75HP in terms of power, with 1.5HP being the most powerful. There's a host of new features including:
  • Run Hour Timer - lets you program the number of hours the aircon remains on
  • Econo Mode - when the aircon reaches the desired temperature, it turns off while the electric fan turns on
  • Cycle Timer - sets your aircon to turn on and off every 30 minutes
  • Auto On-Off Function - programs your aircon to turn on and off automatically at pre-set times
  • Auto Diagnosis - the aircon self-analyzes what's wrong in case of malfunction
The new aircons also have an 8-in-1 filter which has anti-mold, anti-bacterial, anti-viral, and vitamin C among other properties. Window-type aircon prices start at P18,000, while package-type aircons start at P60,000. There's a 5-year compressor warranty too.
