Ice Ice Baby at Californiaberry!

I was invited to Californiaberry's blogger event last March 27, 2011. It was held at their Mezza Residences branch in Sta. Mesa.

Double Berry Yogurt Fruit Blend at California BerryWe were welcomed with a glass of California Berry's Yogurt Fruit Blend (P120, pictured above). As the name suggests, it's a fruity yogurt-based drink. I got the DoubleBerry which is made of blended strawberries and blueberries. It's pretty light and refreshing. :)

Pasta Carbonara at CaliforniaberryThen California Berry surprised us by announcing they are now serving food. Specifically, they have four kinds of pasta on the menu. My daughter decided to try Pasta Carbonara (P135, pictured above). I thought it was a bit bland but my little girl liked it.

Cheesy Lasagna at Californiaberry
I ordered Cheesy Lasagna (P145, pictured above).

It's okay, reminiscent of Greenwich's lasagna. Nothing special.

Organic Coffee at CaliforniaberryOrganic Coffee at CaliforniaberryI also got to try a cup of hot organic coffee (P85, pictured above). It had a mild, light taste so it was easy to drink. The fact that its organic means it's healthy too. :)

Seafood Alfredo at CaliforniaberryI caught a photo of one of my fellow bloggers' order, Seafood Alfredo (P145, pictured above).

Original Froyo at CaliforniaberryMy daughter had a small cup of original frozen yogurt for dessert (P60, pictured above). She finished the whole serving and told me it was yummy. Be warned it's on the tart side.

Ice Ice Baby at CaliforniaberryThen came the highlight of the day, Californiaberry's Ice Ice Baby (P65 per order, pictured above) which they toted as Japanese ice cream. It's actually available in many different flavor combinations.

Ice Ice Baby at CaliforniaberryI tried the original Ice Ice Baby topped with chocolate cereal rings and condensed milk. You can actually have it with other toppings and flavored syrup.

Ice Ice Baby original = incredibly fine milk-flavored ice shavings.

Yummy! I love the way it melts in your mouth. This is so much better than Ice Monster which uses crushed ice and milk. :D
