Sony Philippines presented its hottest summer gadgets in the most entertaining way. There were a lot of colorful performances which involved acrobatic dancing.
Models paraded around holding the gadgets too.
There was even a tiny bit of cosplay for the Playstation 3 portion of the program. Featured were Gran Turismo 5 and God of War.
After the stage performances, we were toured around the exhibit area so we could get a closer look at the products. This is the Sony Walkman A Series. This particular model is the NWZ-A846. It's 32 GB and it costs P17,999.
We were told though that this cute heart-shaped Walkman is Sony's hero model. It's the W-Series NWZ-W252 and it costs P3,999.
The ends of the earpieces have magnets to they lock in and form this cute heart shape. It's water-resistant, washable, wire-free, and it takes only a mere 3 minutes of charging time to generate 90 minutes worth of playback time.
You wear the Sony Walkman W-Series like this. It comes in 4 colors but I'm partial to the pink one hehe.
This is the Sony VAIO C Series. It uses light-emitting materials to create a unique look. It's really eye-catching.
You can even get optional keyboard skins to go with it. It makes your keyboard look good while keeping it clean at the same time. It feels soft and cushy when you press on the keys with the skin on too.
There are also optional silver carrying pouches which you can get for the Sony VAIO C Series.
The pink Sony VAIO C is just too pretty. Love it! It costs P69,999 though.
They were supposed to showcase the Sony Handycam 3D but it got stuck at customs so we had to content ourselves with a video presentation. This baby can record videos in 3D and playback in 3D. Imagine making your own 3D movies!
I also took the Sony Playstation Move controller for a spin. I played a few rounds of table tennis. The controller works like an extension of your own hand. I could actually fully control the angle, power, and speed of my racket work in table tennis. The glowing orb is cool too. :DAnyways... here's the good news -- Sony Summer HotSpots 2011 will be in SM Megamall's Megatrade Hall from March 11 - 13, 2011. What's more there will be a lot of games and prizes! In fact, they'll have some sort of contest staring 2:30pm this afternoon (and all throughout the exhibit days). You can actually win some cool Sony gadgets by participating. If you buy any of the featured Sony summer gadgets you will be included in a raffle draw too!
