Taking on the Pond's Flawless White challenge + a raffle for you!

Being one of Pond's online beauty ambassadors, I was recently asked to find a partner and take on the Pond's Flawless White Unbeaten challenge.

I asked my childhood friend Cathy if she wanted to take on the challenge with me. She's an entrepreneur, a physician, and a hands-on mom all at the same time. It was quite tricky trying to get our schedules together, especially since both of us were going to be travelling with the family for a portion of the time that the challenge would be ongoing. I thought we could just muster up the powers of the internet, video calls, emails, chat, and the like.

Unfortunately for me, a significant portion of the challenge turned out to be voting. There's an FB Like button on the upper left corner of our page on the Pond's microsite which people have to click. The top three teams with the most votes will be shortlisted for final judging. *sniff*

If you've been reading my blog for a while, you would know how much I disapprove of FB likes contests. As in I am totally against it. There's too much cheating... from a gazillion dummy accounts to automated scripts that generate hundreds of likes. False ROI as I always say. But here I am. Truth be told I feel like a total hypocrite campaigning and asking for votes and I hate every second of it. Don't get me wrong... I love Pond's products and I'm always willing to test, use, and share my experiences with everyone. I just really abhor FB likes contests.
