Pond's Gold Radiance Radiance Boosting Cleansing Mousse

There are actually two facial washes in the Pond's Gold Radiance line -- Pond's Gold Radiance Radiance Revealed Cleansing Foam which I've reviewed here, and the newly introduced Pond's Gold Radiance Radiance Boosting Cleansing Mousse which I'm currently using.

The cleansing mousse comes in an impressive gold container. Anyways, like hair styling mousse and whipped cream, you shake it and then press the pump to dispense the product.

A generous amount of light and airy pure white mousse is dispensed with each press of the pump. I only pump twice with every use. I find it sufficient for the purposes of washing my face so I can predict as early as now that this product is going to last for a very long time.

You spread the mousse all over face. I prefer to wet my skin with a little water first before doing so. I lightly rub the mousse to wash away the day's dirt and grime. Pond's Gold Radiance ambassador Tweetie De Leon-Gonzales swears by this mousse. She told us it's all she needs to remove her make-up.

You rinse the mousse off afterwards and then pat your face dry. The difference between this mousse and the facial foam is that this one is better suited for oilier skin types. My skin feels drier and more matte after I wash with this compared to the facial foam. Since I have combination skin (oily on the T-zone), both the mousse and the foam work well for me so I can easily switch back and forth between the two products.

So which of the two Pond's Gold Radiance facial washes is for you?

Pond's Gold Radiance Radiance Revealed Cleansing Foam is for you if:

• Your skin is on the dry side or if you have combination skin like mine.
• You want a light moisturizing effect after washing.
• You're budget conscious -- this is slightly lower in terms of price at P249.
  

When I got back from Taiwan last December, my face was so dry because of the climate changes and this was one of the products I used to get my skin condition back on track. :)

Pond's Gold Radiance Radiance Boosting Cleansing Mousse is for you if:

• Your skin is on the oily side or if you have combination skin like mine.
• You want your skin really dry and matte after washing.
• You wear light make-up daily. (You'll still need make-up remover for hardcore eye make-up though.)
