You can easily spot it on the second floor of Il Terrazzo.
Eight O' Clock Chicken (P289, pictured above) was the first dish to be brought out. Chicken marinated in Minute Maid orange sauce is served with buttered vegetables and steamed rice. The chicken is tangy and flavorful.
We each had half a serving of Cinnamon Snifter (P99, pictured above) -- one order is double the amount of the above and is served in a tall glass. It's a mix of Coke, Sarsi, cinnamon, and vanilla ice cream. It was nice, kind of like root beer float. :)
Eight O' Clock Apple Green Tea Dory (P249, pictured above) is another interesting dish. Big fillets of tender steamed fish is served with buttered vegetables and your choice of Sider. Sider options include Mashed Potatoes, Wedgies, Criss Cut Fries, or Rice. The apple green tea sauce is what gives it flavor, eating the fish by itself is kind of bland.
Sarsi Wings (P199, pictured above) is the official favorite of the group. Crunchy chicken wings coated with a sweet Sarsi glaze... yummy!
Coca-Cola BBQ Burger (P249, pictured above) is great too. A thick and hearty beef patty glazed with Coca-Cola based barbecue sauce is served with melted cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, and onions in between sesame seed buns. I recommend choosing the perfectly seasoned Criss Cut Fries for your sider because the Wedgies are on the bland side.
Ol' Fashion Spaghetti 'n Meatballs (P199, pictured above) is the typical sweet tomato-based spaghetti that the Pinoy palate usually prefers.
Coca-Cola Baby Back Ribs (P399, pictured above) is fall-off-the-bone soft, but just a wee bit dry. I liked the Coca-Cola sauce -- it's the same one used in the Coca-Cola BBQ Burger. It's a creative twist to the usual barbecue sauce.
Spinach Walnut Pasta (P259, pictured above) has this creamy-sweet taste. It's like pasta alfredo with lots of cheese and crunchy glazed walnuts.
Coca-Cola Brew (P99, pictured above) was our second drink of the night. This is half a serving. It's Coca-Cola, Sarsi, and coffee. Don't mix it together when you drink it so you can savor the individual layers of flavors fully. It's a great beverage for capping off a meal. :)
Choc a la Mode (P89, pictured above) is supposed to be warm chocolate cake topped with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream. The cake on the bottom tasted more like a fudge brownie though -- not that it's a bad thing... in fact I liked it and it's my favorite among the three desserts that were served.
Happily Appley (P89, pictured above) is home-baked Swedish apple pie served a la mode. I found it a tad too sweet and it struck me as bread pudding with apples.
Chookie Ice Cream Sandwich (P89, pictured above) is actually a chocolate chip cookie vanilla ice cream sandwich. Kids will love this one. Did I mention that bottomless sodas cost P69 only? Whether you're a Coke fan or you're just out to try something new, The Real Thing is definitely an interesting place to visit. :D
