Havaianas Always Summer Race to Hawaii Contest!

Bloggers gathered at the Manila Polo Club last night for the launch of the Havaianas Always Summer campaign.

Havaianas Always Summer Race to HawaiiThe big news of the night was the announcement of the Havaianas Always Summer: Race to Hawaii contest. Just purchase two pairs (one for each team member) of Havaianas to get a chance to win a slot in the race. You will be asked to do summer-related tasks and the first twenty teams to finish will be flown to Boracay to compete in the final leg. The grand prize will be a trip to Hawaii. I don't have the complete mechanics at the moment but I will update this page as soon as I get them.

Event host, a VJ from Channel VThe event was hosted by this happy-looking dude, a VJ from Channel V. Unfortunately I don't watch TV and so I can't tell you his name. Maybe you know him? XD

Anna Gonzales, Managing Director of Havaianas PhilippinesHavaianas Philippines Managing Director Anna Gonzales graced the event as well. :)

Bloggers at the Havaianas Always Summer eventI was there with blogger friends -- from left to right: Abet, me, Ria, Fran, Paul, and Arvin.

Performance from Coffeebreak IslandWe were treated to a musical performance from Coffee Break Island. They sang mostly Police / Sting songs. They were rockin'!

Performance from Planet ZipsThen there was an intriguing dance performance from Planet Zips. Their moves are similar to the fire dancers you can watch in Boracay but they use lights instead of flames. :)

I won! I won! :pI won a gift pack from Havaianas for having one of the best answers to the question "How can you make summer last forever?"

I can't remember the exact words but my answer was something like this... "I will make summer last forever by taking on a bright and sunny attitude that will tide me over the whole year round... with a pair of Havs on my feet and a smile that can't be beat!". XD
