We were served some complimentary toasted bread with a unique spread which the server referred to simply as "Crunchy Spread". I couldn't believe my ears and I asked her to repeat to which she insisted on "Crunchy Spread". Anyways my friend and fellow blogger Frannywanny, a MoMo suki (regular patron), told me it's actually "Country Spread". It was placed in a small ceramic pot with a popsicle stick for spreading.
It turned out to be a mixture of soft cheese bits, herbs, pimiento, and a bit of oil which you flatten with the popsicle stick onto the bread surface. Nothing crunchy about the spread, but it was good nonetheless. The kids wolfed it all down in no time. :)
On the server's recommendation we ordered Sweet & Smoky Hickory BBQ Rib-lets (P450, both photos above). She told us it's their biggest dish and is good for sharing. Hickory smoked tender and fall-off-the-bone pork was served on top of party rice and mixed vegetables. Corn on the cob and onion rings further accentuated the dish. Delicious, albeit if say a man were really hungry I think he can finish one order off by himself.
We also had Melted 4 Cheese and Roasted Mushrooms Pizza (P395, pictured above). Sliced shiitake mushrooms lay on a bed of mozzarella, gorgonzola, cheddar, and white cheese. The crust was very thin and crisp. The pizza had a fresh and light taste, not at all nakakaumay (tiring to the palate) despite having four cheeses. You just know they used very good quality ingredients.
