Obagi Condition & Enhance Skin Care System

I was given a sample set of the Obagi Condition & Enhance Skin Care System some time ago. I was on another regimen at the time so excited as I was, it's only now that I can finally upload my review. :)

The set I got contained four products:

• #1 Obagi Condition & Enhance Gentle Cleanser
• #2 Obagi Condition & Enhance Toner
• #4 Obagi Condition & Enhance Exfoderm
• #6 Obagi Condition & Enhance Healthy Skin Protection SPF 35

Products #3 Clear and #5 Blender are both topical treatments containing hydroquinone for the treatment of hyperpigmentation. They weren't included in my sample set. I've been using the Obagi Condition & Enhance Skin Care System as my daytime routine for the last 3 weeks since it didn't come with nighttime anti-aging products.

#1 Obagi Condition & Enhance Gentle Cleanser

Since the bottles are numbered, it's very easy to follow the routine. I started with the cleanser which was designated as the first step.

The cleanser comes in clear liquid gel form. It had the slightest hint (and I do mean just a teeny tiny bit) of almond scent which I found nice. It foams up instantly when you add water and it leaves your face feeling really clean but not dry and taut. I love using it in the morning when I've just gotten out of bed. :)

#2 Obagi Condition & Enhance Toner

After cleansing, the next step would be to tone your skin. The toner has a faint light blue tint as you can see from the cotton ball. There's a slight tinge but in general it doesn't sting. It's effective in removing excess dirt, grime, and residue like leftover make-up. It's also fragrance-free plus it doesn't overdry. This is probably the best toner I've used.

#4 Obagi Condition & Enhance Exfoderm

Sheesh, I'd like to apologize for the poor photo quality. I changed positions and it turns out the lighting in this part of my bathroom sucks. Anyways Exfoderm is a white liquid with bits of white particles. I don't know what they are, what I do know is Exfoderm is a 3% phytic acid solution which removes old skin cells and promotes new skin cells for a brighter complexion. I love this product as the effects are immediate. Your face feels so smooth and flawless after use and it looks so much brighter.

#6 Obagi Condition & Enhance Healthy Skin Protection SPF 35

Last but not least, I apply the sunscreen before stepping out of the house. It's SPF 35 so it provides ample sun protection. It's thick and creamy in texture so it goes on smoothly. Just a pea-sized amount is enough to cover your whole face. It also serves as a good make-up base since it smoothens and moisturizes your skin.

Took this photo right after using all four products -- and I'm not wearing any make-up. At the time, I had been on the system for two weeks. The Obagi Condition & Enhance Skin Care System made my skin exceptionally smooth and bright (I didn't think it was possible to go brighter since I'm already pretty fair in terms of skin tone). I had my sister use the whole system when she dropped by our house and she saw and felt the difference immediately after. It's that potent.

I casually asked the staff at House of Obagi how much the whole system would cost, and they gave me a ballpark figure of P15,000 - P20,000 depending on how many steps I get. Hmmm... costs a tad less than the Nu Skin Ageloc Transformation set. Considering a little of each product goes a long way, I'd say my sampler set may last for a couple of months. The actual products are a lot bigger in size so they would last even longer.
