Starbucks Cheer Party 2010 presents Christmas goodies!

Every year, selected Starbucks branches hold the Starbucks Cheer Party. It marks the official start of the Christmas season for Starbucks, meaning all the Christmas food and drink become available and you can now start collecting stickers for the much-coveted Starbucks Planner 2011. I attended the one at Ayala 6750 last November 3, 2010.

Starbucks Cheer Party 2010
Starbucks Cheer Party invitations are usually given to the branch's regular customers, although walk-ins during the party day itself are also handed these. :D

Starbucks Cheer Party 2010 invitationThe Cheer Party invite contains five coupons for freebies, a raffle, and a 10% discount on merchandise and Starbucks VIA Ready Brew. Free-flowing Christmas food and drink samples abound during the party. :D

Starbucks Christmas drinksThe Christmas beverages come in three variants: Toffee Nut, Peppermint Mocha, and Praline Mocha. I got a Toffee Nut Latte (pictured above, left) while a fellow blogger opted for a Peppermint Mocha Frappuccino (pictured above, right). Incidentally, Peppermint Mocha Frap is also my hubby's drink of choice.

Pecan Butterscotch Roll at StarbucksSince I already featured the traditional Peppermint Brownies and Gingerbread Cookies from last year's Starbucks Cheer Party, I'll be concentrating on the new stuff now. First up is the Pecan Butterscotch Roll (P80, pictured above). It's a puff pastry that has caramel and pecans on top with some custard filling.

Caramelized Hazelnut Chocolate Loaf at Starbucks
Then there's Caramelized Hazelnut Chocolate Loaf (P55 per slice, pictured above). I liked that it wasn't overly sweet. It'd go very well with a piping hot cup of Starbucks coffee.

Margherita Pie at StarbucksI also got to try the savory Margherita Pie (P85, pictured above). It was filled with what tasted like tomatoes and pesto, definitely very Italian in terms of flavor.

Christmas Berry Wrap at StarbucksMy hands-down favorite though is the Christmas Berry Wrap (pictured above). It's a pita bread filled with Christmas ham, nuts, veggies, and berry-based sauce. It's sooo good. I love the combination of sweet, savory, and tart tastes. I'm definitely going back to Starbucks for more of this.

Cookie Dough Cheesecake at StarbucksThen they whipped out a Cookie Dough Cheesecake (P110 per slice, pictured above). I love cookie dough! The cheesecake itself is very rich and creamy.

Almond Roca Cheesecake at StarbucksBut the ultimate cheesecake for me was the Almond Roca Cheesecake (P110 per slice, pictured above). It's so so good. It tastes like cheesecake AND Almond Roca at the same time, I can't quite explain it. You just have to try to believe. :)

Picture-taking at the photo booth
Of course, we took lots and lots of photos at the photo booth. :D
