When I was invited to House of Obagi's blogger gathering to celebrate its 11th anniversary in the Philippines, I was really looking forward to it. I wanted to get acquainted with the brand and find out for myself what's behind all the hype. We were oriented by no less than Obagi's International Education and Marketing Manager Aimee DeMarais (pictured above).Aimee explained that Obagi is a skin transformation system that is actually clinically prescribed. Yup, you can't just buy a set over-the-counter without a prescription.
We were allowed to ask questions during Aimee's presentation. An animated discussion happened over delicious food and drink from M Cafe. Those are Roasted Honey Duck Rolls pictured above. :DHere are a couple of lines from Obagi's skin care systems:
- Obagi Clenziderm M.D. Systems - A 3-step therapeutic acne treatment system that comes in 2 variants: Normal-to-Oily and Normal-to-Dry
- Obagi NuDerm System - A transforming system that penetrates deep into the skin and boosts cellular functions to help it look and act younger.
What I'm really excited about though is ELASTILash, Obagi's latest innovation. Aimee gave us a sneak peek. It's not available in the Philippines yet but it will soon be. Obagi ELASTILash thickens, strengthens, and lengthens your eyelashes so you won't need falsies or extensions. Although I was born with naturally thick and long lashes, I noticed they're becoming more sparse as I grow older. I want this product!

Aimee told us more about the individual products after her presentation.

I'm going to give these sample products a trial run! Stay tuned. :)
