Nokia commissioned three directors to create short films that are about a couple of minutes in length using the Nokia N8 to shoot and edit.
All three films were showcased on the small screens and the big screen.
The above, entitled "Frank Da Crank" by Treb Montero II was one of the featured Nokia N8 films. I was very impressed because it was shown on the gigantic LED screen during the event and the quality was still excellent. The Nokia N8's movie-making capabilities are truly amazing. If I was into making videos I'd get this phone in a heartbeat I tell ya.
The Nokia team took the stage to introduce their latest smartphones running on Symbian^3. According to Nikka Abes, Corporate Communication Manager of Nokia, Nokia currently holds a 40% global market share when it comes to smartphones.
During the event, Nokia reps sat with us and passed around the new cellphones for us to play around with. I got my hands on a Nokia C7.Nokia C7 is equipped with a built-in 8MP camera.
It's an entertainment phone. I had the pleasure of surfing through direct feeds from E! News Daily while I was at the event. Want to win your very own Nokia N8? Help Pier Roxas remember what happened to him in the last 8 days. Better hurry though, you only have until Nov. 3, 2010! During the event we were divided into teams and we recreated our version of Pier Roxas' story on the spot via the Nokia N8. We won the grand prize. I was the best actress... hahahaha! :p
