A Venue Hall was converted into a gigantic salon, spa, and aesthetic center with free services that awaited all the guests. Free haircuts were given by David's Salon, free back massages, facials, and even diamond peels were administered by Bioessence therapists and aestheticians.
You could even have your eyebrows threaded for free at the Lay Bare booth. I've actually tried this before and it stung. :p
As for me I decided to undergo skin analysis at one of the Bioessence booths so that I'd have an idea what I needed to have done. Basically, you put your head inside that contraption up there so they can check your face up close.
The ladies were nice enough to let me take a photo of the machine's inner area where I put my head in. The round thing is a mirror you can look into. What happens is they shine an ultraviolet light which reveals things like future dark spots and other flaws underneath your face.
I was like... whaaaat? I'm already so sunblock-obsessed and there she was pointing out the multitude of potential freckles and dark spots located under my face. I was advised to reapply sun protection midday to keep my skin spot-free. She also suggested that I get a facial... from Bioessence of course. I looked through the menu of services and decided on a Purifying Facial which I will schedule in the coming days. I also have a Privelege Pass for a Diamond Peel sample session which I will avail of as well.Will let you know how that goes...
