Free-flowing Tipco juices were served that day. I immediately started off with the Tipco 100% 32 Veggie & Mixed Fruits Juice because I was curious as to how so many different vegetables and fruits in one drink would taste like.
I was blown away by how good it tasted. Really.
I couldn't believe it had all of the above ingredients.
Tipco is a Thai brand distributed in the Philippines by Transaxion Unlimited Corp. (TXN). TXN CEO Kerwin Wong (pictured above, right) gamely answered questions about the products. There are well over a dozen variants of Tipco juices, readily available in supermarkets nationwide. Kerwin admits that nothing can replace actually eating whole vegetables, but if you're not amenable to that these juices are a good source of those nutrients you'd otherwise be missing out on.I was able to bring home some Tipco 100% Beetroot & Mixed Fruits Juice to sample. Beetroot contains anti-carcinogens and has been used as a cancer treatment in Europe. It's also a good colon cleanser. My daughter just loved the Beetroot juice. I was skeptical at first but I have to agree with her, it is very good just like all the other variants I was able to try at the event. I think I'll grab some Tipco the next time I visit the supermarket. :)
Update as of July 19, 2010: I went to the supermarket today and the price range of Tipco juices range from P85 to P110 depending on the flavor. I bought Beetroot and 32 Veggies. :)
