Fast forward to 2010. I was invited to the launch of AOC's new line of LED (Light-Emitting Diode) monitors last July 7, 2010 at the Edsa Shangri-la Hotel. I was surprised by how sleek and snazzy they looked. The model above is the AOC iF23, a full HD 23" monitor. I found out that day that AOC actually stands for Art of Colors. :p
AOC also launched its first ever LCD TV in the Philippines, AOC LCD TV DK99U. It boasts of an eco display which saves power that in turn helps save the environment.
Jason Cheng, CEO of Glee Electronics (manufacturer of AOC), addressed the media guests. It was explained that LEDs consume 50% less energy compared to LCDs. AOC monitors also have no mercury content, making it the safer choice. If you're in the market for a new monitor or LCD TV, you might want to check out what AOC has to offer.
