Toblerone celebrates 2nd Mother's Day this May 2010!

Every time the month of May comes around, we remember the most important woman in our lives-- our mom. We pay tribute by taking her someplace special to eat or to get some pampering. We shower her with gifts. We greet her and take time out to be with her during this special day.

This May 2010, Toblerone encourages us to think about our 2nd mothers. 2nd mothers are women in our lives who are not our biological mothers but have played an important role in helping us become the people that we are today.

In my case, it's my Aunt Grace, bless her soul. My dad and mom split up when I was less than 10 years old. My younger sister and I were left in our paternal grandmother's custody. It was our Aunt Grace that took care of us. She would take us to the mall during weekends. She taught us to save money, to conserve water and electricity, and to believe in God above all else. When my sister figured in a car accident it was our Aunt Grace who stayed at the Intensive Care Unit of Makati Medical Center to watch over her. It's really sad that our beloved aunt passed away all too soon.
