We always order Siomai (P70 for 4 pieces, pictured above). Hubby and I can easily finish one order each. Their Siomai is meaty and juicy, served with calamansi and chili garlic oil. I like the absence of those little chunks of rubbery fat you find yourself chewing other Siomai. I miss their special sauce which used to accompany an order though. It mysteriously disappeared, and when I ask the staff these days they have no clue what I'm talking about. Soy sauce is available on every table.
Maki Mi (P120, pictured above) is another favorite. Maki Mi is comprised of lean pieces of battered pork and egg noodles in a thick and gooey soup topped with green onions. It's very filling so we usually share an order for merienda.Ngoyong also makes for a great snack (P70 per serving, albeit we did not order at the time we ate there. It's fried kikiam that's sliced into 6-8 pieces and served with sweet and sour sauce.
Don't expect any sort of ambiance from this place though. As I've said earlier, it's run down and the staff are the farthest thing from professional. They were actually babbling to each other in loud voices "Uy may camera may camera!" etc. when I was there taking photos of our food. They were so antsy about me having a camera I didn't bother taking photos of the place anymore as they seated themselves at the vacant tables out back. Still, if you just want a quick, cheap, and delicious snack, it's worth trying.
