KFC's new offerings -- Creamy Tomato Pasta and Chewy Cheese!

I got to try the new KFC Creamy Tomato Pasta Bowl some days ago when hubby and I went on a collection trip.

KFC Creamy Tomato Pasta BowlI was very hungry that day since I skipped breakfast. I found the pasta bowl a bit small for someone so hungry and I was actually tempted to order two, but I just decided to order another one of KFC's new products, KFC Chewy Cheese.

KFC Creamy Tomato Pasta BowlKFC's Creamy Tomato Pasta Bowl is actually spaghetti topped with a blend of tomato and white sauce, hence that orangey color. Chunks of KFC's Original Recipe chicken and grated parmesan cheese crown this dish. It's pretty good, but if you're very hungry, the serving is on the small side so you'll need to order two or order something else. One order costs P76.

KFC Chewy CheeseTo satisfy my hunger, I decided to order KFC Chewy Cheese, which KFC has been actively promoting on Facebook. KFC Chewy Cheese are breaded mozzarella cheese nuggets that are deep fried to a crisp.

KFC Chewy CheeseI was kind of disappointed with KFC Chewy Cheese. It was not as gooey or stretchy or chewy as they made it out to be. It's not bad, but it's not good either. An order ala carte costs P50. You probably have to order the optional salsa dip (another additional P10 if I remember correctly), because it's bland when eaten on its own.

We had this meal at KFC Congressional, which is overall not a very good branch since the air-conditioning is insufficient and the floors were wet without as much as a warning sign -- I almost slipped with my entire tray since I was wearing Crocs.
