Nokia OVI photo contest + Sony Cyber-shot TX1 = Winner!

Oh the irony... from October 2009 to January 2010, I was one of the four bloggers who served as brand ambassadors for the Sony Cyber-shot TX1. We promoted the Sony Cyber-shot TX1 Snapshot Challenge in our respective fields -- and I was in charge of the Food category.

I fell in love with my Sony Cyber-shot TX1 so even after the Snapshot Challenge concluded and Sony just launched the TX5 and TX7, I still carry the TX1 with me everywhere I go. My old digicam, which shall remain unnamed, is in the meantime is gathering dust in my closet... :p

Anyways, I joined the first leg of Nokia's DiscOVIries Contest last week which is all about food and dining places. I found out earlier today that I actually won (I got that photo compilation of my entries above from Maki's blog). And yes, I used my Sony Cyber-shot TX1 to take those winning photos during my meal at Restaurant Verbena.

To quote my friend from the PR agency, "It's like Jayvee or Bryan Boy (both of who are bloggers endorsing Nokia OVI) winning the Sony Cyber-shot TX1 Snapshot Challenge."
