Free Comic Book Days!

I don't know about kids these days, but in my younger days I was very much into comic books. I collected X-Men comics, Sandman graphic novels, manga (Japanese comics), and many more. Now I've heard of Free Comic Book Day being practiced in North America, but I didn't think that it was something that'd be done here in our country.

Good news, there will be two such days in our Metro Manila calendar where FREE comic books will be given away.

On May 2, 2009 Comic Odyssey at Robinsons Galleria (2nd floor in front of Red Ribbon) will be giving away FREE comic books to all store visitors and fans. Not only that, raffle prizes will be given away every half hour so make sure you register and claim your stub before falling in line. There will also be special guests -- renowned artists in the comic industry such as Gilbert Monsanto, Ed Tadeo, Nico Suayan, and many others.

Want more? Then mark May 23, 2009 in your calendar because on that day ALL branches of Fully Booked will be giving away FREE comics to everyone -- no purchase necessary! Giveaway starts at 10am. Aside from that all graphic novels will be sold at 20% off.
