At P795 per serving, Fish & Co.'s Fish Around the World Platter takes you from the east to the west with flavors from Malaysia, Japan, India, and Philadelphia USA to titillate your taste buds. Sambal sauce, nori, curry, and cream cheese are just a few of the ingredients used to recreate the world's fish & chips in a single platter.
Bloggers were introduced to the Fish Around the World Platter via a food-plating competition. Four teams of five bloggers each represented Malaysia, Japan, India, and Philadelphia USA. I was part of Team Philadelphia USA along with Melo, Eric, Edelweiza, and Mec.
The contest kicked off with a grocery race, wherein the teams were given 30 minutes and P500 each to shop for their food-plating ingredients. Our team was able to make it back to the restaurant first and was thus awarded with AXN Beyond goodies. After shopping, teams were given another 30 minutes to dress up their Fish & Chips. Again, Team Philadelphia USA reigned supreme with the "Philly Fish Steak" pictured below:
We were awarded with P2500 worth of Fish & Co. GCs for our efforts which we split amongst the five of us. It was a fun-filled afternoon, and for a few moments there I felt like I was doing something out of the Amazing Race.
